Every day across Northeast Wisconsin, neighbors are bringing people together, building trust, and creating a sense of belonging. The Weaver Awards exist to celebrate and fund the people doing this important work.
Applications are now open for the 2026 Weaver Awards, which will provide more than 20 awards of $2,500–$5,000 to individuals and grassroots groups strengthening relationships and social connection across our region. The application is simple, and reporting requirements are minimal.
Basic Needs Giving Partnership, along with NeighborWorks Green Bay and The Canary Fund, are proud to partner with Weave: The Social Fabric Project at the Aspen Institute as one of just 25 Community Hosts nationwide to bring this opportunity to Northeast Wisconsin.
Do you know someone who should apply?
Please help us spread the word by sharing this opportunity with the people and grassroots groups making a difference in your community. You can also apply yourself. Every applicant needs at least one community member to recommend them as a trusted connector, so whether you’re applying or supporting someone else, your participation matters.
Visit awards.weavers.org/en/newi/2026 to learn more about the Weaver Awards and submit an application or recommend someone in your community.
Together, let’s celebrate the neighbors who are strengthening the connections that help our communities thrive.
