We are excited to announce the recipients of the Basic Needs Giving Partnership’s 2025 multi-year grant awards!

This year, we are investing $2.63 million in three-year grants to 9 community partners working to advance systems change efforts across Northeast Wisconsin. Funding supports current and emerging collaborative projects working toward long-lasting, equitable solutions to deep-seated community challenges.

These awards focus in one or more of the priority areas for this cycle:

  • Early Care and Education (ages birth to 5)
  • Housing Access
  • Mental Health
  • Substance Use

Investments span the rural, urban, and suburban areas of our region, and priority was given to initiatives with collaborative, cross-sector partnerships that center the voice and leadership of those most impacted by the challenges that the project aims to address. These projects will work to impact the root causes of pressing challenges within the grant priority areas by transforming policies, systems, and mindsets to create stronger, thriving, and more equitable communities.

The Basic Needs Giving Partnership’s grantmaking is made possible by the generous contributions raised through the U.S. Venture Open, celebrating 40 years of giving in Northeast Wisconsin. This year’s event raised a remarkable $5.2M.

Please join us in extending a heartfelt congratulations to each of the awarded initiatives. We look forward to supporting these community-driven efforts over the next three years.

With gratitude,
