The Northeast Wisconsin Child Care Alliance is a network of partners working to make it easier for children ages birth to 5 and their families to get the high-quality, affordable early care and education (ECE) and family supports they need to thrive.

Our newsletters aim to educate and inform our communities about the need to transform early care and education in ways that will bring about more equitable and lasting outcomes for children and families and to spark opportunities for action, alignment, and coordination.

Local News

First Five Fox Valley is looking for parents (young, old, grand, teen, single, LGTBQ, any race or cultural affinity) to join the Parent Ambassador program. The program aims to grow personal and leadership skills in a supportive cohort environment. The goal of the program is for parents to feel more confident in sharing their experiences when advocating for the needs of families in our communities. The group will meet for 1-2 hours per month with dates decided by participants. There is no financial cost to participate and free childcare is included along with compensation for the training. From a former attendee, “This group has given me an opportunity to get out and connect with other parents and feel valued for my thoughts and experiences. I’m doing something important and feel valued by others who deeply listen to what I have to say.” – Jasmine

Please contact catherine@firstfivefoxvalley.org for application information. Applications due by Friday, October 24.
